New Stamps for World Card Making Day

Stampin' Up! Festival of Trees Donation

 

For our final activity at the Founder's Circle Retreat last week in St. George, UT, we divided into 3 groups and decorated 3 Christmas Trees with Stampin' Up! and other handmade decorations! These trees will be donated to the Festival of Trees event which benefits the Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT.  People will bid on these fully decorated trees! How fun is that!?

There were approx. 130 of us on the trip and we were divided into 3 groups, and smaller teams within each group.  Each group decorated one tree.  Each team was in charge of making one kind of decoration, and some demonstrators were in charge of the actual decorating.

Our team was the Fa La La La La's and we were in charge of making these stars and Baker's Twine Ornaments:

Shelli stopped by our table for a photo and to see how we were doing on our stars.

If you don't recognize these fabulous stars, that's ok.. they are from a brand new kit that is coming in the October Holiday supplement!!!  If you don't have a demonstrator and need a supplement, let me know.. I'll be mailing them the 2nd week of October.

Founder's Circle 2014 Trip to Kanab

 

One of the highlights of the Founder's Circle Retreat is our bus trip from St. George to the Stampin' Up! Manufacturing Facility in Kanab, UT!  Every year there is something new to see and more to learn about the creation of our rubber stamps!

This year we decided as a Founder's Circle group to "flash mob" the amazing employees and bring them treats, cards, signs and tokens of our appreciation for them!  As we got off the bus and were greeted by all of the amazing employees, we handed them treats and goodies and signs.. it was so fun to see them smile!! I created about 70 signs in My Digital Studio and had them printed through our My Digital Studio print service and we handed them out.

When we first arrived, our group was treated to a super fun Make & Take project featuring the brand new Hello December Project Life by Stampin' Up! kit!  You are going to find this kit in the new Holiday Supplement coming out in Oct!!  If you do not have a demonstrator and would like one of those supplements, let me know.

Founder's Circle 2014 Christmas Tag Ideas

 

I have a few more days of Stampin' Up! Founder's Circle photos to share with you!

The staff and concept artists go overboard with AMAZING ideas for the theme, decor, projects, gifts, and displays every year on our Founder's Circle Retreat!

This year the theme was "Home for the Holidays" and it was truly like being in a gorgeously decorated home in December all week!  I wanted to share the GREAT Christmas Tags they created and tied to jars of candy!

Founder's Circle Update

 

Hi Friends,

 The evening began with presentations by staff and Shelli and by 10 demonstrators. I volunteered to do one of the Bussiness Tip presentations.

Founder's Circle 2014 Welcome Activities and Dinner

It's so exciting to be in St. George, UT at the Marriott Courtyard hotel once again for the annual Founder's Circle Retreat!  I am blessed to say this is my 7th Founder's Circle trip!  I am here with fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who have achieved placing in the top 100 of the company!!  It's so fun to see my demonstrator friends and catch up, chat, mingle, network, eat, stamp, win prizes, see new products... we have a great 5 day retreat with all that and more!

Wednesday was arrival day for everyone and we were greeted with the most amazing Stampin' Up! special events team and Holiday decor.. our theme this year is "Home for the Holidays".  I hope you enjoy these photos of our welcome activities! We were greeted with a gift and cookies and then found the other 6 members of our groups (I am in the Fa-la-la-la group).

 

We found our groups and were given a Gingerbread House kit to make.. we could use candies and Stampin' Up! accessories on our house!!

We each received a lovely (wrapped!) gift after completing our house!

Our dinner was amazing as always.. there is always a theme for the week, and this week it's "Home for the Holidays", so the decor at dinner was like a gorgeous Christmas Dinner, complete with delicious ham dinner and bread pudding!

Tomorrow I'm leaving for St. George, Utah to spend the remainder of the week with the top 100 Demonstrators in Stampin' Up!, plus the top Demonstrators from Canada.. it's a delightful annual trip for the Founder's Circle members.. I truly love this time to network with my fellow achievers!

  In the video that I mentioned above, I explained all the supplies I used in this card, including the cute little pockets from the Gratitude for Days kit on page 38 in the Holiday catalog.  I didn't use all of the patterns because a couple of them weren't really so Halloween-y, but these are the 8 patterns from the kit that I used:

yep, it's a lot of parts.. we are each bringing 113 cards!

How fun is this.. I discovered that the eye stamps in the Freaky Friends stamp set are perfect for making eyes on the ghosties!!!  I die cut the ghosts using the Fun Fall framelits!

What do you think about the Fright Night tombstone!?  It's the new Tag Punch on pg 13 of the Holiday catalog (#135860), punched out in Smoky Slate cardstock, and stamped and sponged with Basic Gray ink!  The bat stamps are from 2 sets: Holiday Invitation (pg 49, #135074) and Holiday Home (pg 16 #135095), and the Fright Night stamp comes from the Holiday Cheer set (pg 35 #135188).

Stampin' Up! Founder's Circle 2014 Travel Docs

 

It is always WAY too exciting when I receive the travel docs for the Stampin' Up! sponsored trips I earn each year... and this is no exception... Founder's Circle 2014 is coming up next month and the packet arrived yesterday!! whohooo!

The Founder's Circle Retreat is an amazing 5 day trip to St. George, Utah, where we gather with the top 100 demonstrators in the company from the US plus the top Canadian Demonstrators, with Stampin' Up! Staff, Corporate Team members and of course Shelli and Sara!!   It's an amazing week and I'm sure you've enjoyed my photos from previous years.  This will be my 7th Founder's Circle trip and I'm really looking forward to it!!

Here is what I received from Stampin' Up! and the travel agency to get me all ready for my trip!

Did you see that gorgeous stamping on the front!?  Stampin' UP! does the MOST amazing job of making us feel SO special!  The pine cones and pine bough are from the new set called Ornamental Pine on page 27 of the brand new Holiday catalog!  The theme for the retreat is "Home for the Holidays".. but I'm not sure where that embossed image came from.. I'm not seeing it in the catalog...

The GORGEOUS Cherry Cobbler sheer linen ribbon is found on page 7 of the Holiday catalog.  If you have not rec'd your Holiday catalog yet, please let me know so I can get one in the mail to you!
