New Sale a Bration Stamp Set - Lotus Blossom
December 31, 2014
I have a sneak peek share for you today... you've probably already seen this AMAZING stamp set in the Sale a Bration catalog.. right!? It's called Lotus Blossom and you can find it on pg 7 of the Sale a Bration 2015 brochure, and see pretty samples of it on pgs 6 and 7. I just LOVE it!!
Wait.. know the BEST part!? IT'S A FREE Sale a Bration ITEM you can select with your $50 order from Jan. 6 to March 31!!
Cindee and I played with this new set and tried all sorts of Stampin' Up! ink colors with this stamp. Even though this is a 3 part stamp (3 step stamping) you only need ONE INK PAD to stamp it!!!! Yes! just one!
We found we liked lighter colors the best, but you can use darker ink colors... see our tip below...
It can be a bit tricky with darker colors.. so stamp off the 2nd and 3rd images before stamping on your card. You can experiment or just copy what I did in this post.
So here are a couple cards we came up with using the new Lotus Blossom set and the BEAUTIFUL Painted Blooms Designer Paper (pg 19 of the 2015 Occasions Catalog - also available starting Jan. 6, 2015).
Below: Lotus Blossoms stamped in Crushed Curry, Strawberry Slush and Blackberry Bliss ink to coordinate with the DSP strip. FREE Crushed Curry Sale a Bration Ribbon finishes off the card.
Below.. Keeping it simple with one color of flower, I stamped this one with Calypso Coral ink. The Gorgeous Grunge splatter dots in Crushed Curry were Cindee's idea.. really a nice finishing touch, don't you think!?
I stamped hello from the Hi There stamp set in Memento Black ink, tied some Calypso Coral Seam Binding ribbon around the note card and voila.. done!
Same basic supplies,
Same card layout,
2 great results!

I LOVE this stamp set. Ilove flowers and your card is gorgeous. You need to make a video of how you did this card. Thanks Patty for all the fun ideas.

What pretty cards.... Is there a trick as to which of the 3 stamps you did first? One of the stamps is very sparce, then one has more and lastly, there is a lot of polymer on the 3rd stamp. thank you for sharing your creativity
