I love the chocolate mint bars--not sure what they're called, but they have a chocolate cookie base (similar to a brownie), then a layer of mint, topped with a thin layer of chocolate--yum! Thanks for the chance to win!

My sister in law makes the best fudge! Thanks for sharing such fun stuff Patty!
Posted by: Pat | December 07, 2013 at 05:40 AM
My favorite Christmas cookie is the butter cookie made with the cookie press. It's fun to decorate the cookies with sprinkles, chocolate, cinnamon imperials, etc. Best part, they can be a quick one bite snack....if you could only stop at one bite. Thanks for the opportunity to win this kit. It looks really cute.

I love homemade sugar cookies. During the holidays they are perfect.

My favorite desert is Pumpkin Roll. My granddaughter recently shared at school that one of her all time favorite things at Christmas is Grandma's pumpkin roll. Maybe the fact that I always double the cream cheese filling helps so there are lots of extra spoonfuls left in the bowl!! My grandchildren also love making stampin projects with me so the kit would be greatly appreciated. I just ordered the Paper Pumpkin as a Christmas gift for 2 of my grandchildren - what a wonderful way to share my love throughout the year.

This is my FAVE Paper Pumpkin so far. I absolutely LOVE those star's.
My Mom and I used to make Christmas cut-out cookies. My Mom would bake them and I would eat, frost and decorate them.

By far, my favorite Christmas cookie has to be the old fashioned Springere. My mother was not German, but my dad was 100% German and loved both these and Lebkuchen. Fortunately, I took a day off from work on what turned out to be the last Christmas that she lived, and joined her on the day she was baking both of these cookies I had enjoyed all my life. Although I had the recipes from her, there were a lot of things that I would have never done correctly if I had not made cookies with her that day, and the knowledge would have been lost. P.S. The Lebkuchen is my second favorite, followed by decorated cut out cookies, and then cut out, decorated gingerbread cookies.

Posted by: Sherry Conrad | December 07, 2013 at 11:43 AM
Patty, hum...I have so many favorite Christmas desserts that it's hard to pick just one!!! However, I think it has to be mocho's. It's a family recipe my dear mother-in-law created when she had her children at home years ago. It's a petit-four cake cut into squares, frosted with a butter cream frosting then rolled in crushed peanuts. Yum, it's a tradition in our family that I'll be baking up soon.

Hi Patty - my favoritest cookie of all time is a peanut butter & kix drop cookie that my aunt used to make ... the peanut butter is kind of fudge like consistency and has the perfect amount of sweet & salty mix with the crunch from the kix. I might have to make some this weekend now that I'm reminded :)
