our monthly Blog Tour one week late because we were at CONVENTION last week ...
most of us are sharing the Convention Swaps we traded with each other last week at our annual Control Freaks Lunchtime Stampin' Up! Convention Swap!
You have probably joined me after visiting Connie Babbert's amazing blog can click on the "next blog" link at the bottom of the post to continue on the tour.
My first card was inpsired by Jo Ann Hewins (in my Luv 2 Stamp Group) and features the SUPER POPULAR MODERN MEDLEY DESIGNER PAPER!!
The flags are easy to cut.. I used a 3/4"x4" strip of paper, folded it over the Bakers Twine then snipped the ends with the Hexagon Punch. (see THIS POST for hot tip)
Designer Paper used: Neutrals DSP stack, pg 152 & Modern Medley, pg 154
Pear Pizzazz and Basic Black Cardstock, Hexagon Punch and Early Espresso Bakers Twine also used

My 2nd card features the Dahlia stamp in Strawberry Slush ink, and accented with Bermuda Bay cardstock, and black and white accents.
The black and white paper strip is from the DSP stack on pg 152, Neutrals stack.

The border stamp at the bottom of the card is from the Backgrounds Builders set on pg 119, #129147 or #129150.
Punched greeting is from Label Love (pg 33), stamped in Coastal Cabana ink and punched with the (AWESOME) Artisan Label punch (pg 181) #130920. SAVE 15% when you order the stamp set and punch together in a bundle! See pg 32 for ordering info or enter #132723 or #132722.

These are such fantastic cards, Patty! I'm so in love with the colors on both!! Congrats again on all your awards at Convention! It was so exciting to see you up there getting recognized for all your work!!

Awesome cards, Patty! Wish I was there swapping with you, too! I especially love the dahlia card. The black and white with pops of color is just gorgeous, and the border around the dahlia is great.

My favorite is the Dahlia card...although I love the green/black card, too! Great seeing you at Convention and congrats on your awards!

Great cards! Love them! That Pear Pizazz almost looks like lime green with the black/white paper...love it!

I feel in love with Janet's card when she swapped with me....great color combination! Loving your dahlia card - I just got the stamp and thank you for such pretty inspiration...and your tip for the border...again!
