One of my Luv 2 Stamp Group members showed me this beautiful card with the Reverse Masking technique a couple weeks ago... Thank you Irene for sharing this LOVELY idea with me!
Cut a "reverse mask" with your Stampin' Up! paper trimmer, lay it over the card and sponge color through it. It is similar to THIS VIDEO TUTORIAL.
ABOVE: NEW In Color ink combo of Crisp Cantaloupe and Pistachio Pudding, with a Crisp Cantaloupe folded card
Sponged and stamped on Naturals White cardstock, #102316
BELOW: NEW In Color ink combo of Strawberry Slush and Coastal Cabana, with a Smoky Slate folded card
The Simply Sketched stamp set is a hostess offering on pg 205, but you can use any similar set, too. Simply Sketched is on pg 205 and you can get it for $10 (clear) or $14 (wood) with your hostess dollars for an order over $150.
Cut a mask out of cardstock with your Paper Trimmer, and then sponge 2 colors of ink onto a piece of Naturals White cardstock, then stamp... oh my... BEAAAAAAAUTIFUL!
