When I was at the Founder's Circle Retreat in September, I saw my friend Penny making about 30 cute little Christmas Squares... I asked her what she was doing.. she explained that her group does a "square swap" each season (or almost monthly) and they use the cute squares for frames, collages, cards, etc., .. so I thought .. WHAT A FAB IDEA!!
I came home and took sign ups from my Luv 2 Stamp Group for a Halloween Square swap, and the rules were that the largest piece had to be either a 1-3/8" Stampin' Up! square punch (#119877) or a Stampin' Up! Scallop Square punch (#119884) .. we had 20 participate, and here is what I did with my squares:
Above: this frame is about 9" square (8" square opening) and I layered Tangerine Tango cardstock, a piece of Howlstooth and Scaringbone DSP (#126906), and then a piece of Very Vanilla on top. I die cut a Labels Collection Framelit (#125598) and stamped Happy Halloween (from the hostess set on pg 204) and added a piece of 1/2" Striped Satin Ribbon (#127837, pg 26 Holiday catalog).
Below: this frame measures about 7" x 12" and was only $3 at Walmart!!

The Labels Collection die is stamped and paper-pierced with the Festive Paper Piercing Pack (#127857) (you can get it FREE this month!)
Here are close-ups of the squares and names of my Luv 2 Stamp group gals who made them. GREAT JOB everyone! LOVE THEM ALL!

I love this idea!! Although my downline is not very big, I am going to try to get people in my uplines yahoo group to have a swap like this for Christmas.

Love these, but you said 20 participated and I only see 19 squares!? As a math teacher I need to have the numbers equal! LOL
