I've mentioned many times how much I love my Luv 2 Stamp Group... they are kind, caring, generous and amazing...

well, here is just one more wonderful thing they have done...

Cards for troops donation

at our last Luv 2 Stamp Group meeting we started collecting cards to send to the husband of one of our Luv 2 Stamp Group members stationed in Bagram, Afghanistan.

We collected over 235 cards which i packaged up and mailed off to him.  I know he and his camp will enjoy using these to send back home to loved ones!!

At our recent Luv 2 Stamp Group event, we worked on a very worthwhile service project.  Our group partnered with Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Yolanda Rizzardi who volunteers at the Pasadena, CA Ronald McDonald House, and we created some really great gift packets for the kids who are staying at that RMDH.

I created some card fronts using My Digital Studio with "outline images" so the kids could color them, I printed them on Stampin' Up! Whisper White cardstock, and provided the envelopes, cardstock, cello bags and ribbon, and then at the meeting, my wonderful gals helped by snailing them onto folded cards, packaging them into Gusseted Cello Bags, tying them with In Color Ribbon, and then they all contributed a small pack of Crayons to go with it!

I heard from Yolanda and she assures me the kids will be very grateful for this fun treat.  Thank you to my Luv 2 Stamp Group for helping with this wonderful project!
