My Convention Bag with Stampin' Up! Fabric

As you know I'm in Salt Lake City, UT this week for the Stampin' Up! Convention ... (can you say WHOOOHOO!?) :) .. and this is the bag I'm taking with me .. you know.. swaps, camera, snacks, catalog, water bottle.. all the essentials...

BUT>>> the coolest thing is... do you see our adorable new CHERRY COBBLER TIMELESS PORTRAIT FABRIC showcased as the tie on my Miche bag??  TOOOO Stinkin' Cute!

 When I saw the new Miche bag style with the belt loops I knew I had to replace the fabric that it came with and make my own Stampin' Up! Fabric ties for my bag!! :)

You can find this fabulous fabric on pg 196 in the New Stampin' Up! Catalog.

I also made one with the black and white fabric from the same Timeless Portrait package:

I don't get to sew very often but I'm really thankful that my mom left me her Pfaff machine when she passed away.. I loved using it for this project - it works soooo much better than my 1972 Singer from Jr. High Home Ec class!
