Remember those fun Brayered Roses I shared with you in April? Well, I decided to make more using my new Stampin' Up! IN COLOR ink, cardstock and ribbon!! I love them!
Below: Crushed Curry ink and ribbon, Dusty Durango ink and cardstock
below: Dusty Durango ribbon, ink and cardstock, Crushed Curry ink
Below.. this is for all my friends who love the silvery/purple roses.. this is Rich Razzleberry ink, paper and ribbon, with a little strip of the Razzleberry Lemonade paper.
Below: Melon Mambo ink and cardstock. Ok.. this is going to have to sink in a little... PINK Melons... ??? hmmmm
1.Emboss the Manhattan Flower die onto Shimmery White cardstock with the Multipurpose platform and the Big Shot
2.Turn the finished image over so the raised portion is facing DOWN onto your work surface
3.Ink your brayer in one color (I used Regal Rose) and then ROLL OFF much of the ink onto scrap paper
4.Roll remaining ink onto “debossed” rose image (raised portion facing DOWN) – in a “hit and miss” fashion – do NOT try to cover the image entirely with color
5.Repeat steps 3 and 4 with a 2nd color – I used Summer Sun
6.Cut image out and adhere to your card or project
You are done! Isn’t that quick and easy and BEAUTIFUL!? J
I love the Manhattan flower embossing die with the Stampin' Up! Cardstock Vellum!
To adhere the vellum to the Apricot Appeal cardstock, I ran my snail down the left side of the card, attached the vellum, then covered that with my ribbon! :)
Wow... how simple & quick, yet how elegant this card would be for a wedding or anniversary!!
I used the Manhattan Flower Textured Impressions Die (item 114517, pg 202) and the Stampin' Up! Big Shot machine to create the gorgeous embossed flowers on a Pink Pirouette card, then simply added the Eyelet border (punched with Whisper White cardstock), the Organza Ribbon, and a stamped focal point from "Together Forever" (pg 60, item 115100). I layered it onto a Chocolate Chip tag I cut using the new Matchbox die (coming up in the Occasions mini catalog.. it also has 3 tags!).
I used the "Punches Plus" Classy Brass Template (pg 186, item 109539) and the paper piercer to pierce around the oval punch ... did you know that brass template coordinates PERFECTLY with our punches?
Hope you like it!
More samples with this die can be seen in THIS previous post.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOh.. I've been having FUN today!! I got my exclusive Manhattan Flower Textured Impressions Die today, and I HAD to play with it right away! I used it in conjunction with my Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set from Stampin' Up! and Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip cardstock/ink..
I used tags from both the new Matchbox Die (Occasions Mini catalog) and the Stampin' Up! "Lots of Tags" Sizzlit dies. A couple of the tags layer nicely from the 2 products!
Notice the new Baja Breeze Corduroy Buttons! (available now to demonstrators, available on April 1 to customers).
The Manhattan Flower die is on pg 202 of the current Stampin' Up! catalog, item #114517, $7.95 and is available NOW!
OK.. now go play with your new stuff and tell me what you made!
