Below you will find 9 ideas for using the die cut cards and the Bride, Groom and Bridesmade Designer Paper (pg 158)!  Mix and match as you wish...  if you cut the 12x12 DSP sheets into 3x3 pieces you can line the die cut openings as shown and you will have plenty of the specialty Designer Paper to make all 9 cards plus many other projects.

I added a large black grommet to the center and then "dyed" a brown small brad by dipping it into Black Stazon, so that I could have a black center.

 

 

again, I dyed a small brad black with the Staz on pad.

 

 

Dip a jumbo brad into the black staz on pad to make a black brad :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sweet Pea Designer Paper card

One of the cards we made at Rita's workshop last weekend was kind of "out of the box" for me.. I seem to have been stuck on red and pink and black lately... but I branched out and used the SWEET PEA DSP from the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog as my color inspiration for this project:

The card is about 3-1/2" x 4-1/4" and fits into a folded Glassine Bag (item 117228, pg 19 Occasions mini).

You can stamp on the Glassine bags and envelopes with StazOn ink! :)

create a belly band for your envelope with a 1"x12" strip of DSP.

or... you can run your glassine bag through the Big Shot with an embossing folder!!  I used the new polka dot embossing folder for this one (item 117335, pg 35 Occasions mini).

Here is a sampling of the SWEET PEA DESIGNER PAPER.. it's sooooooooo cute!

I also used the Sweet Pea Stitched felt flowers.. oh MAN are they FUN to use!! :)  (item 117266, pg 32 Occasions mini catalog).

TIP: I wanted Jumbo Black Brads...

I wanted large and small black brads to go with my new Pendant Die Cut Note cards (pg 168)... so I just dipped my 5/16" and 5/8" jumbo brads (pg 179) in my BLACK STAZ ON pad (pg 190)... and voila.. large black brads!! No heat setting needed! :)

Above: the 5/16" black brad is set in the center of a black Jumbo Grommet (pg 179).

I used the new "Groom" specialty DSP (pg 158) behind the die cut Pennant notes.
