Wow! 3-1/2 MILLION Blog Hits & Blog Candy!

Wow wow wow... last night my blog hit 3-1/2 MILLION hits !!  THANK YOU to everyone who stops by my blog each day!! I appreciate your visits, comments, orders and most of all the friendships we've developed!!!

Blog Candy for 3,000,000 Hits!!

It was an amazing week, to see my blog counter roll past 3,000,000 hits.. I want to THANK every one of you who visit me here, leave me fun comments, ask questions, etc.  It has been an amazing 2-1/2 year journey so far!! 

Earlier this week I had asked for YOUR INPUT on WHAT I should give away for Blog Candy and HOW I should pick the winners... I just have to say... THANKS to everyone who responded!!  Your ideas were thoughtful and creative!  Some of your suggestions:

• Many of you simply thanked me for sharing ideas, tips, samples, videos, etc., and said that was Blog Candy enough... how sweet of you !!!
• I was touched by how many of you suggested that YOU should send ME a gift.. that was just amazing!!  My tip jar is always open (left column) for anyone who loves that suggestion! :)
• Several more of you suggested that I go celebrate with my family instead of giving something away... well, we did get to go celebrate last weekend with a visit to the San Jose Sharks game with 11th row seats... I splurged with my $500 Stampin' Up! sales bonus.. we had a fabulous time and had a great dinner outdoors at a neat Cuban restaurant before the game!

  

• There were many more suggestions about how to determine who would receive blog candy, but one of my favorite suggestions was to offer you a quiz about my blog and about me... the first 3 people to get all the Quiz answers right will get some FABULOUS prizes from me.. like stamps sets, free tutorials, Stampin' Up! accessories, etc.!!  5 additional random winners will also be chosen.

SO... if you'd like to play along, you will need to post a comment on my blog (emails don't count), and include answers to all of the questions PLUS leave your name and city/state in your blog post so that I can easily identify the winners. 

The first 3 posts with all the correct answers will be the Grand Prize Winners.

Most of you suggested ribbon (in a knot or bow) in the center, other suggestions were:  DSP, Pretties flower, crystal effects with glitter or beads, pearl, vintage jewelry piece, photo of a loved one, a gem, rhinestone brad, jumbo eyelet, designer brads, corduroy buttons, and more! And you liked my Build A Brad idea too!

 

I'm glad I posted the Tutorial on these.. it was comforting to know I am not the only one who was intimidated by these and/or didn't know how to use them.  Boy, are they easy!

I've been thinking all week about what I'd like to give away as BLOG CANDY for my 1,000,000 blog hits! 

  As I was prepping for my Christmas card class this weekend, it hit me ... my MOST favorite Stampin' Up! accessory is the AWESOME Craft & Paper Scissors... they cut ribbon like BUTTER!!  They are a MUST HAVE for any crafter.. so.. I'd like to give away a pair of those!!
