My Luv 2 Stamp Group had a great stamping day a couple weeks ago.. we call it Stamp A Rama. Each person brings a project to demonstrate and then we all make it. I wanted to share those wonderful projects with you over the next several days.
This is the gorgeous box Sharon Howard taught us how to make
Rather than make green flowers (which come in the kit) I decided to cut the green flowers apart and use them as leaves. I used the brads from the pop up posies kit for the centers of some flowers.
You can WATCH THE Stampin' Up! VIDEO here for more instructions
We had a great time in my Spring Printer Tray class this weekend.. everyone loved the St. Patricks, Spring Flowers and Dress Up My Digital Studio inserts for their trays!
I have 10 kits left for this project... first come first served.
Use the "buy now" paypal button below.
(NOTE: if you are reading this in an email, you need to go to my blog to use the paypal button)
Thank you to everyone who signed up to come take my Spring Printer Tray Insert Class or ordered a class kit in the mail! I have 3 spots left in my class on March 9th.. if you want to join us with your tray, let me know.

It's time for another Holiday Square Swap home decor project..
Valentine Square Swap!
My Luv 2 Stamp Group participates in a swap around each holiday time, and we each make a square using Stampin' Up! products.
I used an 8x10 white wood frame and a background of printed heart paper from the More Amore Designer Series Specialty package of paper (pg 10, or here online)
I decorated the corner of the frame with a piece of 1-1/4" Two Tone Pink Pirouette ribbon (pg 13 Spring catalog, #129294) and some lace trim from the Artisan Embellishment kit (pg 10, #129328).
The LOVE tickets are also from the Artisan Embellishment kit (noted above)
The cute heart clip is found on pg 28 in the Elements Cute Clips package (#129939)
You'll notice that almost 1/2 the squares feature the cute little HEART shape from the Hearts a Flutter stamp and framelit die cut - find them on pg 11 in the Spring Catalog, or HERE ONLINE
see above for info on the LOVE tickets and heart clip
The beautiful heart button is also in the Artisan Embellishment kit.
The heart die cut is from the More Amore DSP package too.
Hope you enjoyed the project!!
ABOVE: More Amore Designer Series Specialty package of paper (pg 10, or here online)
You can see all the patterns on pg 3 in the Spring mini catalog, or HERE ONLINE.
I added a row of pearls at the waist and a Flower brooch.
cuteness, right?
The difference between this set of dresses and my first frame, is that for these dresses i mounted them on the Dress Form that is a part of the Framelit set. I cut them out of Basic Gray cardstock.
Yesterday Stampin' Up! revised their policies and it is now ok to include MDS printed components with a project kit, as long as they are printed through the Stampin' Up! MDS printing service... so.... watch my blog next week for my offering of Winter/Spring set of MDS Printer Tray Inserts for your Stampin' Up! printer trays!!
THANK YOU Stampin' Up! for listening and for taking everything into consideration and for changing this policy!
And a HUGE Thank You to each of you who had emailed me with encouragement and support about this project!!
If you are not familiar with the printer trays, you can see my previous blog posts:
Have you used the new Creped Filter Paper from the Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog yet? (you'll find it on pg 6). It's easy to work with and although it seems really thin, it's fabulously durable (and super inexpensive!)!
Here is a card I created and embellished with the creped filter paper flower.
I love how the Thank You tag turned out...I stamped Whisper White Cardstock with Calypso Coral ink and the new oval stamp from Oh Hello (I stamped off onto scratch paper first), and then die cut it with the Labels Collection Framelit! Then sponged the edges to add some depth.
OK, now on to the
Creped Filter Paper Flower Tutorial!
You'll need the Creped Filter Paper, and a variety of Scalloped Circle punches (see below)
I used ONE of the 6"x12" sheets in the package to punch about 12 scallop circles.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: When punching... i needed to put the creped filter paper on a sheet of computer paper (I actually just used the Stampin' Up! Grid sheet show in the photo, available here) and punch both layers at once... the filter paper was too thin to punch by itself.
Step 5, add brad through all layers and you are done!
If you'd like to make a BIGGER flower, use the Floral Frames Framelits and follow the instructions in this Stampin' Up! Video.
These are the beautiful Vintage ribbon flowers on pg 5 of the Stampin' Up! Spring catalog - 5/8" Flower Trim, #126869... there are 2 yards of these gorgeous little flowers in each package. AND HERE'S THE MOST EXCITING NEWS... it is only $6.95 for the whole pack!! whoohoooo!
I needed to dye a lot of these little beauties for a project we are making at our Luv 2 Stamp Group meeting on Saturday, so I tried this method and it worked great!
STEP BY STEP: 1. I rummaged through the drawer with all the extra plastic containers and lids that don't match
2. filled the containers about 1/3 full with water
3. added approx 10 to 12 drops of Stampin' Up! Reinker
(shown at left:
top = Calypso Coral
bottom = Pool Party)
4. Cut Flower Trim into about 12" sections and put them in the containers... stirred with a plastic spoon left over from Yogurtland and let sit about 10 minutes
5. I took the wet flowers out and let them dry on paper towels
When dry, I used Stampin' Up! Stampin' Write markers to add some color to the tips of the flowers... ohhhhhhh so pretty!
once I knew this method was going to work ok... I went a little crazy :)
OPTIONAL METHODS for Dyeing the flowers:
1. sponge ink onto flowers
2. "smoosh" flower directly onto the ink pad
3. mix reinker and water in Stampin' Spritzer and spray flowers
4. color with markers only
and of course... spritz with Smooch Spritz or Shimmer Paint in a Stampin' Spritzer... to add a little Glitz and Glam!
OK>>.. I'm ready for our Luv 2 Stamp Group Meeting on Saturday... can't wait to see all my gals!
I'm not sure... but I **THINK** this could quite possibly be one of my most favorite crafty things I've ever created!!
I had a blast die cutting dresses with the new Stampin' Up! DRESS UP FRAMELITS and created this fun framed art using the new HUNG UP CUTE CLIPS hangers!

So, how fun is that... use a piece of the English Ivy Stationery (big catalog, pg 147, #127538) for the apron in this cute little sundress?
The waist is all tied up with some Rose Red Seam Binding ribbon, pg 172, #121884
The Dress is die cut with the Dress Up Framelit, #130101 and the new More Amore DSP, Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog, pg 10, #129309

So, how cute is THIS!!? ... I dyed a new Paper Doily (pg 5 in the Spring Catalog, #129399) and die cut it with the Dress UP die, then added a strip of the (oh my gosh gorgeous) Delicate Details Lace Tape! (Spring catalog,
pg 3, #130966) for the apron in this cute little dress!

The Apron is a piece I had stamped embossed in white then watercolored over .. I had it sitting on my desk for months.. so i cut it up and used it as an apron!! I stamped it with the Delicate Doilies stamp set (pg 110, #122590)
Ok, if you are still with me... which one do you like best? Leave me a comment if you have time. I hope you check back again later this week.. I made another frame with 5 more dresses and will be posting the other frame soon!
I am seriously trying to get caught up on blogging the remainder of the projects from our October Luv 2 Stamp Group meeting. Yep, I DID SAY October.. ack! So far behind! :)

Today... FABRIC BRACELETS!
Laura showed us how to make these great fabric bracelets.. such a fun and quick DIY craft project!!
We used Floral District Fabric and Brights Buttons, but you could certainly select any fabric of your choice and even use a metal clasp or magnectic clasp instead of a button if you wish.
View all Stampin' UP! fabric here. Or check out the 99 cent clearance fabric here (click "show all")
Thanks for dropping by today!!
What do you have planned for the weekend.. anything fun?
I've been blogging about our Luv 2 Stamp Group Christmas Gift Exchange earlier this month.. and today I'm so excited to share the last segment of our evening together. You can see other posts from this event with my downline here.
This darling apron and gorgeous plates were made by Lorena, and Cindee got this lovely gift. Lorena used Mod Podge to apply Stampin' Up! Candlelight Christmas fabric (#126905, pg 4 Holiday Catalog) to the back of large clear glass plates. These are just STUNNING!!
I received this stunning bracelet made by Ellen... it is so pretty and features NEW Designer Paper coming up in the Spring catalog!!
Lorena was the recipient of these fabulous wreaths made by Laura.. they are wrapped with Candlelight Christmas fabric!
Sharon received lovely cocktail napkins made by Carrie. Carrie is a great seamstress and used Comfort Cafe fabric for these treasures. (item #126894, pg 171 Stampin' Up! Catalog).
And lastly, (but not leastly) :) Joy received this amazing set of drawers decorated by Sharon.. I just love this technique.. Sharon shared it at our October meeting and i will be blogging about this technique soon!
I wanted to give a little gift to each of my downline attending our Luv 2 Stamp Group Christmas party earlier this month, and I also made these for some neighbors.. it''s a great, easy and quick gift for the Christmas season!
I bought the containers in the Dollar Spot at a local big box store, and filled them with hot cocoa packets, peppermint marshmallows, Hershey kisses, and decorated them with Stampin' Up! Sweater Trim (#129939, #127838, #129937), a candy cane, and tags made with the Snow Festival tags (#128152) and printed images in My Digital Studio.
I used these punches: Curly Label (#119851), 2-1/2" circle (#120906), 2-3/8" scallop circle (#118874) and 1-3/4" scallop circle #119854

I got this cute GIFT CARD HOLDER idea
from Connie Stewart at our Founder's Circle trip last September... I
LOVE this cute little gift card holder!! I redid the measurements
slightly to get more out of 1 sheet than the original design.. the dimensions I used are all listed below.
You'll notice I've made a little tie around them with the DECK THE HALLS FABRIC from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini catalog... soooo cute!!
