Riding Hood Red has always been a favourite of mine; I'm so glad someone else has discovered its beauty. I hope it survives the next colour renovation. These cards are lovely, Patty. I enjoy visiting your blog; you have great posts and wonderful projects. Thanks for sharing!

Denise Tretheway

I just joined SU about 1 1/2 years ago, and I kept passing up Riding Hood Red. About 6 months ago, I used it because it was about the only color that went with whatever paper or project I was working on at the time (can't even remember what it was), and I loved it! I think I may have used it with chocolate brown, and it was beautiful! Just like you, I have developed a new taste for it. However; Cherry Cobbler just can't ever go away... Now that you have brought out the "hood", I think I will use it again soon!

Beth Norman

Oh how beautiful. Your technique is very effective on the DP.

I liked your technique alot. I pulled out my Riding Hood Red and doggone if it was not bone dry! How bad is that, so good excuse to replace it with the new foam pad! So I went to Cajun Craze and oh my how beautiful it turned out. I will be posting a picture of that card on my blog and Facebook here within the next week. I could not bring myself to cover it with DSP however, it turned out so beautiful and made a perfect masculine birthday card. Thank you for sharing the technique, I love it!
