I'm off to the Stampin' Up! 2011 Convention in Salt Lake City!! I'll try to post here as often as possible during the coming week!
Each year I am so excited about going to the Stampin' Up! convention!! I have only missed one convention since 1995 when I joined Stampin' Up!. One of the very fun things about convention is spending time with the demonstrators in my Luv 2 Stamp Group. I give them a Convention Gift each year.. this year I got them done early and mailed them out or handed them out to my gals attending convention.. whew! :)
I made them each a notepad holder to take notes during convention classes, and a tag to put on their bag.
Yes, I made these using My Digital Studio and the fabulously fun and darling Cheerful Treat hostess downloads (pg 11, #124237) and the Flirtatious DSP download (pg 126, #124227).
The notepads (from an office supply store) are inside our CLEAR MOUNT STAMP CASES (pg 205, #119105)
The tag is also printed with My Digital Studio and cut out with the Two Tags Die, then I cut an additional tag with the Two Tags Die (pg 222, #115954) with OnBoard chipboard sheets (pg 216, #114230), and adhered them together like a sandwich using the Multipurpose Adhesive sheets (pg 216, #120805).
I made a fun flower for the tag using Flirtatious Fabric (pg 196, #122335), Flirtatious DSP (pg 183, #122360), Jumbo brads (pg 199, #112533) and the FUN FLOWERS DIE with the big shot (pg 221, #121812).
JOIN STAMPIN' UP!! I'D LOVE TO HAVE YOU JOIN MY TEAM!
If you sign up to be a demonstrator, you too can join us at Convention for all the fun! Check out the $99 sign up special going on right now! :)

Patty,
These are SO adorable. Would you mind sharing a bit on how you made these - I mean like size and all? Did you have them printed through Stmapin' Up!? I would LOVE to have one of these! :) Enjoy convention - I am not attending this year - perhaps I will be able to next year.

I love them. You have inspired me to want to make the notepad holders. The people in your group will love them.

I love the way you used the convention logo on your notepad cover. When you get back would you mind sharing how you got the colors behind it? I'm pretty much a novice with MDS, but I'm learning. I have your video to watch, so that has helped. Did you print these yourself or send them to SU for printing? Happy Convention!!
