Ahh yes the sour cream container. An oldie, but a goodie. I remember when I first started and everyone on Stampin'Discuss was talking about them and I couldn't figure out why they were called that and of course there were no tutorials or videos. You just had to do it by someone explaining it with words. We've certainly come a long ways haven't we?

Thanks for leading me to the directions. I have never made one of these before. I bet they would look great for Christmas, Valentines, Easter, Birthday, and just about any other reason you can think of. You could put anything small enough inside of them. What a cute packaging method this is. Have a wonderful day! I know that I am.

Thanks for reminding me of a cute way to use the crimper. I had a sample card out at my last workshop where I had used the crimper to make a fence (the top of the fence is punched with the Pinking Hearts border punch, saw the idea, but can't remember where) and my newest club member and stamper said, "Ooo, how did you do that?" Next workshop we're using the crimper, and we'll make sour cream containers!

This may be old but it was new to me! I love it and plan to make these. Thanks for sharing.

hi there, just wanted to thank you for that last minute extra project today!! in the few minutes before the hostess girls arrived I was checking emails & your "sour cream container" post arrived & I thought now there, perfect!! I had never done the SCC before & decided it would be the perfect little end to a hostess club get together ;) & IT WAS! -- they LOVED them! we threw in jelly beans & made a few extras for the missing members, then I started goofing around & making different sized ones... so thank you so much for a random idea that truley blossomed in that great "UN-planned" kind of way... TFS!! R ;)
