WELCOME to the MARCH 2010 Control Freaks Blog Tour !!!
You have probably joined me after visiting Dannie's blog, and you can click on the "next blog" link at the bottom of the post to continue on the tour :)
Our THEME for this month is SPRING.. so sit back with a nice cup of your fave drink and enjoy my SPRING FLOWERS! :)
I taught Fabric Flower Class this week... 21 people joined me over 3 nights, and we each made 4 different fabric flowers... they are sooooooooooo fun to make.... and perfect for wearing on your jacket, top, in your hair, on your tote bag or purse...
FABRIC FLOWER INSTRUCTIONS:
For my "quick and easy version" video tutorial CLICK HERE. For Christy's alternate version, CLICK HERE. For Shelli Gardner's version CLICK HERE.
The first type of flower we made used the Flower Folds Die, the Big Shot and a hot glue gun, and can be seen in Christy's video and on Shelli's blog (see paragraph above) - each flower was made with 19 or 20 layers, and a button in the center.
FLOWER FOLDS BIGZ XL DIE, #115970, $42.95
The 2nd flower we made used less layers - about 12 or 13 layers each, but also used the Flower Folds die and the Big Shot and a hot glue gun, instructions can be seen HERE.
The third flower we made was inspired by Terri, and uses the FLOWER LAYERS DIE and the big shot. They are assembled with a hot glue gun and are made with heavy designer fabrics and a felt backing.

I'll post the 4th flower another time with instructions as it is a totally different type of flower.
