YESTERDAY I posted this technique and tutorial which you have all enjoyed thoroughly!! :) and today I have a couple more samples for you...
this sample uses the RECTANGLE frame with the Petal's a Plenty Embossing Folder from Stampin' Up!
and this one uses the OVAL frame with the Petal's a Plenty Embossing Folder from Stampin' Up!
For the sample above, I've sponged on some FROST WHITE SHIMMER PAINT (pg 27 in the Holiday Mini Catalog, item 116854, $5.95) - it's beautifully shimmery in person!
SEE THIS POST for the tutorial for the oval and rectangular frame cards.
CUSTOMER INCENTIVE OFFER:
I will send a FREE WOOD FRAME TEMPLATE to the next 3 customers who place an ON LINE ORDER through my website (HERE) of $50 or more and include at least ONE Impressions Embossing Folder!

This is just lovely with the red on the edges. Nice job.

Wow! That shimmer paint really shows up! At first I wondered if it was the shimmer cardstock! So pretty!

It makes a plain card so elegant. So much can be done with this folder.
Thanks again,

Thanks for sharing the idea. I tried using chipboard and layered cardboard but don't have the right dies to make the "holes". Guess I will be shopping for one of the wood templates.

I really need to find some of those wood frame templates. Hope I can find them here on the East Coast because I love what you did and you don't need to do any layers for a perfect card.

I love the look with the shimmery paint how it's shimmery without being overpowering. Hugs and happy stamping Lori Watson
