Welcome to my blog! Below you will find my 3 samples with NEW Stamp Sets! Enjoy the Tour!
I have been a member of the CONTROL FREAK SWAP GROUP for many, many years.. we are a diverse group of stampers from all over the U.S and Canada. We swap about 5 or 6 times a year and are hosted by Lisa Martz - hostess extraordinaire! :)
Julie Dinn organized a BLOG TOUR for all of us to join on the 20th of each month... I hope you'll come along on our next tour on the 20th of August, too!
This month we are showcasing samples with BRAND NEW stamps and/or accessories from the NEW Stampin' Up! Catalog. After viewing my samples, please click on the button at the bottom that says CLICK HERE FOR THE NEXT STOP ON THE BLOG TOUR :)
Here are my 3 submissions for NEW STAMP SET SAMPLES:
Above: I think this is one of the BEST new dies in the Big Shot section in our catalog... it is called the FANCY FAVOR die (#115965, pg 200). This box can be made with the gusseted sides as shown above, or can be a rectangular box as shown on pages 2 and 3 in the catalog. I made the above box using the NEW Autumn Traditions DSP on pg 160 (Item 115668). I stamped the tag using my favorite new fall set called Falling Leaves (pg 27, item 115368). The tag is attached to the bag with a Library clip (pg 179, item 112581).
Above: Some flowerful fun with the new DSP called Tall Tales (pg 161, item #115678), and the new Embossing Folder on pg 195 called Finial Press (item #115963). I used Regal Rose and Old Olive cardstock with some new Crushed Curry polkadot ribbon!
Above/Below: This white cardfront was embossed with the new Elegant Bouquet embossing folder (pg 195, item #115964), and then I added a vase of flowers using the new Hostess set called Kind & Caring Thoughts (pg 16). Colors used: Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive. The Vase was made using the Large Oval punch and Old Olive DSP.
Now please enjoy the rest of the tour as you visit the awesomely talented Gretchen Barron on your next stop on the tour!

All of your projects are so pretty. The embosslits are perfect with the Tall Tales paper. I never noticed that before. I also love your punched vase and the gusset bag. I *need* that die!

Dear Patty,
Flowerful Fun is my favorite! The Big Shot embosslits are the BEST--die cut AND embossed in a few easy turns of a handle! Thank you! lorijane

Hmmmm...do I like the embossing folder outside in or inside out? Interesting perspective and nice simple elegance. Cool!

Patty, I loved all your projects, especially the embossed ones using the Big Shot folders. I also like the cheery flowers on the middle card with the Tall Tales dsp. Thanks for always so generously sharing your talents!

My white card stock sort of cracked along the peak of some of the embossed images using the Floral Bouquet folder. Did you spritz your paper with water or alcohol to make it more flexible before sending it through?

As always, beautiful job Patty!!
