Tips for Covering Clipboard

I forgot to add this to my LENGTHY post yesterday... I made a template to cut out the Designer paper to fit around the clip on the clipboard:

Each clipboard is just slightly different depending upon where the clip got fastened to the board.. so it may not fit 100% right on each clipboard you cover, but if you just kind of "massage" it and "coax" it into place, it seems to look pretty good. 

An alternative to cutting your paper to fit around the clip is to "paint" your clipboard in some manner.. on this one, I used the SPONGE DAUBER and the SO SAFFRON CRAFT PAD to color the top 1" or so of the clipboard and just brought the paper up to the bottom side of the clips:

I used some embellishments from the Borders & Blossoms Accents & Elements tin, River Rock ribbon and a jumbo eyelet set in the corner (yes, Julie.. YOU NEED a Crop A Dile) !!  {grin}

Great! I have made 3 or 4 of these with painting, sponging, adhereingpaper, mod podge....but have a few more sitting around ( another hoarder I know!).
